Your photograph is etched into a curved translucent globe so the face emerges from the surface in real depth, with foliage, sky or background detail wrapping continuously around the form. Unlit it reads as a quiet white sculpture; switched on, the whole globe becomes the photograph, lit from the inside. It sits on a dark weighted base that charges over USB Type-C and runs for around 12 hours on a full charge, so it can be moved around the room or carried to a table without trailing a cable. Technically the most demanding piece we print — a curved surface holds detail very differently from a flat panel — and the most striking one we make.
